Prioticket Integration: More Resellers, Zero Allotments

Zaui's Prioticket integration is a certified OCTO connection that lets tour, activity and attraction operators sell through Prioticket's network of travel sellers using live Zaui availability and pricing. Every reseller sale comes straight from the same inventory as your website and front desk, so there are no allotments to hand out and no spreadsheets to update. It replaces manual reseller management with a connection that runs itself once your products are mapped.

Reseller Distribution Usually Means More Admin, Not More Revenue

You agree to work with a new reseller network. They want your products, your prices and a block of spots to sell. Someone on your team builds a spreadsheet, sends it over and promises to keep it updated.

Then the season starts. A departure sells out on your website. You raise prices for a holiday weekend. A boat goes in for repairs and two sailings are cancelled.

The reseller is still selling from last week's file. The first sign of trouble is a guest at your check-in desk holding a ticket for a tour that is already full.

That is the hidden cost of manual distribution. Every new reseller adds reach on paper, but it also adds another file to maintain, another allotment to track and another chance to overbook. Some operators end up limiting how many partners they work with, simply because the admin does not scale.

Allotments create a second problem. Spots you set aside for a reseller sit unsold while your own website turns guests away. By the time the reseller returns them, it is often too late to sell them anywhere else.

We built Zaui's Prioticket integration so reseller distribution can grow without growing your workload. Prioticket gets live access to your inventory, and you stop managing it by hand.

What Zaui's Prioticket Integration Does

Zaui's Prioticket integration lets Prioticket check your live availability and prices, hold spots and confirm bookings directly in Zaui. Zaui is certified by Prioticket as an OCTO supplier, which means the connection follows the open OCTO standard used across the experiences industry.

In practice, your tours and attractions become available to the travel sellers connected to Prioticket, while every detail stays in Zaui. When a reseller needs to know if a time slot is open and what it costs, Prioticket asks Zaui and gets the current answer. When a guest books, the booking lands in Zaui with your other reservations.

With the Prioticket integration, operators can:

  • Reach travel sellers connected to Prioticket without building products in another system.
  • Sell from one shared pool of inventory across every channel, with no allotments.
  • Quote current prices to resellers automatically, including seasonal and demand-based pricing.
  • Prevent overbooking with live capacity checks and short reservation holds.
  • Receive reseller bookings in Zaui alongside website and front desk bookings.
  • Choose which products resellers can sell and keep others direct-only.

What you stop doing is just as important. No more allotment spreadsheets, no more rate sheets emailed every season and no more reconciling what a reseller sold against what you actually had.

Sell Through More Resellers Without More Work

The integration lets you sell through more resellers without adding a new workflow for each one. That changes how you think about distribution.

When every partner needs a spreadsheet and an allotment, adding a reseller is a cost decision. You weigh the extra reach against the extra admin, and the admin often wins. Smaller sellers who might send a steady trickle of bookings never make the cut.

With a live connection through Prioticket, that trade-off changes. Prioticket connects to many travel sellers, and your products are available through it once they are mapped. Your team does the setup work once, not once per partner.

That opens up reach you might have skipped. Sellers connected to Prioticket, whatever markets they serve, can draw from the same live inventory without your team touching each sale.

Prioticket notes in its own documentation that OCTO-compliant suppliers can connect without additional development. Zaui's certification is what makes that possible for Zaui operators.

No More Allotments, No More Stranded Spots

Because resellers book from your live inventory, you never have to set aside spots that might go unsold. Every seat stays available to whoever books it first, on any channel.

Allotments were always a compromise. Give a reseller too few spots and you miss sales. Give them too many and those spots sit idle while your own channels turn people away. Either way, you are guessing about demand weeks in advance.

With the Prioticket integration, there is nothing to guess. When a guest books through a reseller, Zaui checks real capacity at that moment. If the slot is open, the booking goes through. If it has just sold out on your website, the reseller sees that too.

That matters most on your busiest days. Peak departures are exactly where allotments hurt, because demand is high everywhere at once. A shared live pool lets every channel compete for the same spots, and you sell to the first guest who is ready to pay.

It also simplifies the end of each season. There are no allotment returns to chase and no unsold blocks to write off. What sold, sold. What did not is still yours to sell.

Live Pricing for Resellers Protects Your Margins

Resellers always quote your current price, because Zaui sends live pricing with every availability check. You never have to send an updated rate sheet again.

Price changes are one of the biggest risks in manual distribution. You raise prices for peak season, but a reseller is still selling last month's rate. Or you run a shoulder-season promotion that resellers never hear about. Either way, the price the guest sees does not match your plan.

With Zaui, the price comes from Zaui every time. Change a price in Zaui, and the next request from Prioticket returns the new price. Seasonal pricing, pricing tiers and dynamic pricing all carry through where you have set them up.

For operators who manage revenue actively, that is a big deal. Your pricing strategy works across every channel at once, instead of only on your own website. You can respond to demand without worrying that reseller channels will undercut the change.

Protect Your Reputation by Preventing Overbookings

Live capacity checks and short reservation holds mean a reseller cannot sell a spot you no longer have. That protects both the guest experience and your relationship with your partners.

An overbooking is one of the most damaging things that can happen to a tour operator. A guest arrives eager and holding a valid ticket, and there is no space. You either squeeze them in, refund them or rebook them, and the review that follows is rarely kind.

The Prioticket integration is built to prevent that. When a guest starts checkout on a reseller site, Zaui briefly holds the spots. If the guest completes the booking, the hold becomes a confirmed reservation. If they abandon checkout, the hold expires and the spots return to every channel automatically.

Because your website, front desk, other OTAs and Prioticket all draw from one pool in Zaui, the same spot can never be promised twice. Your team spends less time handling apologies and more time running great experiences.

Cancellations work the same way in reverse. When a reseller cancels a booking, Zaui releases the capacity straight away so it can be resold.

Clearer Data on What Each Channel Sells

Because reseller bookings land in Zaui with the rest of your sales, you can see how Prioticket performs next to every other channel. That makes distribution decisions easier.

With manual distribution, reseller sales often live in someone else's report. You wait for a monthly statement, compare it with your own records and try to work out which partners are worth the effort. The picture is always a little late and a little incomplete.

When bookings arrive through a live connection, the data is already in your system. You can see which products sell well through resellers, which dates fill from partner channels and how reseller demand compares with direct demand.

That helps in practical ways. You might notice that a product sells strongly through resellers in the shoulder season and price it accordingly. You might spot that a morning departure fills from partners while afternoons rely on direct bookings, and adjust your marketing to match.

For businesses that report to owners or boards, having channel performance in one place also saves hours of manual reporting. The numbers your team needs are in Zaui, not scattered across partner emails.

Less Admin for Your Team

Once products are mapped, the integration runs without manual work from your team. Bookings, cancellations, prices and availability all move automatically.

Reseller bookings appear in Zaui with the customer details and quantities sent through the connection. They show up on manifests, in reports and in booking search, next to every other channel. Your front desk does not need a separate login or a second inbox.

That consolidation pays off in small ways every day. Guides see the full guest list. Finance sees revenue by channel in one place. Managers can compare reseller performance with direct sales without merging spreadsheets.

Vouchers are handled too. A booking can return one QR code for the whole group or individual tickets for each passenger. Choose the format that matches your check-in, and reseller guests arrive ready for your scanners.

Who Sells Tours Through Prioticket With Zaui

The integration suits operators who want broader reseller reach without the admin that usually comes with it. It also helps operators who already work with Prioticket and want to stop managing products in two places. Good fits include:

Attractions and timed-entry experiences. Products with set time slots and capacity limits match the connection's availability model directly, and live checks protect your busiest slots.

Tour and activity operators expanding distribution. If you already sell through OTAs, Prioticket adds another channel without another manual process. Our guide to travel distribution channels for tour operators explains how resellers fit alongside direct and OTA sales.

Operators with active pricing strategies. If your prices change by season, demand or customer type, live pricing keeps every reseller in step.

Operators selling the same departure on many channels. The more places a departure is sold, the more a shared live pool matters for preventing oversell.

Small teams without developers. Because the connection follows an open standard and is certified, there is no custom integration for you to build or maintain.

Why OCTO Connectivity Matters When You Choose a Booking Platform

A booking platform built on OCTO can connect to more partners with less custom work, and that shapes how fast you can grow your distribution. It is worth asking about when you compare systems.

OCTO is an open API standard for tours, activities and attractions. When both sides of a connection speak OCTO, products, availability, bookings and cancellations follow the same structure. That makes new connections faster to launch and less likely to break when either platform updates.

Zaui's Prioticket certification covers the full core OCTO booking flow: product discovery, live availability, reservation holds, confirmations, booking retrieval and cancellations. Live pricing is included too. Optional capabilities such as promotions, pickups and content sharing can be added later without rebuilding the connection.

When you evaluate booking platforms, ask:

  • Which reseller platforms can it connect to live, rather than through manual allotments?
  • Does reseller pricing update automatically when you change prices?
  • Do reseller bookings land in the same system as your direct bookings?
  • Is the connection built on an open standard or a one-off custom integration?

For a wider look at distribution, see Zaui's guide to channel managers and OTA distribution.

Getting Started With Prioticket on Zaui

Connecting to Prioticket is a guided setup with Zaui's connectivity team, centred on mapping your products. After that, the connection runs on its own.

  1. Prepare your products in Zaui with schedules, capacity and prices for the dates you want to sell.
  2. Request the connection through your Zaui account manager.
  3. Choose which products resellers can sell, using Zaui's Channel Manager.
  4. Map your products to Prioticket so both systems refer to the same inventory.
  5. Test a booking end to end, then go live.

If you are moving to Zaui from another platform, your products become available to Prioticket once they are set up and mapped in Zaui.

Availability

The Prioticket integration is certified and available to Zaui operators now, with setup handled alongside Zaui's connectivity team. It supports time-slot availability, live pricing, reservation holds, bookings and cancellations.

Pickups, promotions, notifications and content sharing through the API are not part of the current release. Because the connection is built on OCTO, Zaui can add those capabilities later. Rich product content such as long descriptions and images is not synchronized through the live connection yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of connecting Zaui to Prioticket?

Zaui's Prioticket integration lets you sell through Prioticket's network of travel sellers using your live Zaui inventory and prices. You avoid allotments, rate sheets and manual updates, and reseller bookings arrive in Zaui with the rest of your bookings. Your team sets up the connection once instead of managing each reseller separately.

Will resellers always see my latest prices?

Yes. Zaui sends the current price every time Prioticket checks availability, so a price you change in Zaui reaches resellers on the next request. Seasonal pricing, pricing tiers and dynamic pricing carry through where they are set up. There are no rate sheets to send and no delay waiting for a sync.

Can a Prioticket reseller overbook my tour?

No. Zaui checks live capacity for every reseller request and briefly holds spots while the guest completes checkout. If checkout is not finished in time, the hold expires and the spots return to every channel. Because all channels draw from the same inventory in Zaui, the same spot cannot be sold twice.

Do I control which products resellers can sell?

Yes. Each Prioticket product maps to a specific product in Zaui, and you choose which ones to distribute. You can keep premium or private experiences direct-only while offering your core tours to resellers. Product access is managed in Zaui's Channel Manager, alongside your other distribution channels.

What is OCTO and why does it matter?

OCTO is an open API standard that defines how booking systems and resellers exchange products, availability and bookings. Zaui is certified by Prioticket as an OCTO supplier, so the connection follows a shared structure rather than a one-off custom build. That makes it easier for Zaui to add capabilities and new OCTO partners over time.

Do Prioticket bookings show up with my other bookings?

Yes. Bookings made through Prioticket-connected sellers appear in Zaui with your website, front desk and OTA bookings. They are included on manifests and in reports, and cancellations release capacity immediately. Your team manages every booking in one place, without a separate reseller dashboard.
