With the conditions and regulations changing on the daily, travellers are rightfully reluctant when it comes to making future travel plans. They need to know if there are appropriate safety nets in place (refund/rebooking policies, self-service bookings) to help them book with confidence.

Whether it’s booking a tour for this coming weekend, for next year, or even in 2022—travellers are looking for the flexibility to amend their plans and resolve any booking issues quickly without jumping through several phone and email hoops with your front desk and support staff.

Our product team has been focusing on developing features to accommodate the changing traveller sentiment and consumer patterns. By removing the friction when making booking amendments, travellers have the flexibility and assurance needed to adjust their reservations should plans change last minute.

More Flexibility, Less Worry

Available on the NEW Online Booking Engine, the manage my booking feature allows guests to directly retrieve their booking, edit simple booking details, and process additional payments and refunds.

The self-manage feature provides guests with more flexibility and control over their bookings, when and how they want. From an operations standpoint, this stress-free trip management experience takes a load of phone calls off your spartan team so they can put the focus back on delivering safe, memorable experiences.

Into The Nitty Gritty

So, how does it work? First, guests will need to log in with their booking reference ID and last name.

Guests can directly edit their booking from the “Manage My Booking” link up to 24 hours before the start of their activity. Manage My Booking can also be accessed within the site’s booking engine, as well as from the email booking confirmation.

When changes are made, guests will receive a booking confirmation and copy of their updated reservation via email—a feature that can be set up and enabled by operators.

 

At this time, booked guests are able to pop in and make changes to: 

  • Guest details (Eg. name, phone, email)
  • Number of guests & processing payment totals and refunds
  • Booking dates and times, Pickup locations
