Zaui Software LAUNCHES VERSION 2.2 OF ITS ACTIVITY AND TOUR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Zaui release new internet booking engine, and releases sophisticated airport shuttle booking system
VANCOUVER, BC (April 28, 2009) - Zaui Software Ltd. today announced the immediate availability of Zaui 2.2, the latest version of the company’s online, web-based activity and tour management system. In Zaui 2.2 users are provided a completely new and improved internet booking engine, online transportation search engine, and new point to point pricing model.
“We’re very excited with the new design and feature set targeting online bookings through our new internet booking engine.”, says Kory Fawcett, chief software architect at Zaui Software. “The new internet booking engine and its platform will become the next generate Zaui internet booking engine for which we can begin building on for the future.”

The engineers at Zaui had set out on a new design of the booking engine with two key goals in mind: increase conversions, decrease friction points. “The goal for our customers is to leverage the Zaui booking engine in an effort to increase online revenue streams and maximize their potentials, while still maintaining clear control on inventory across all sales channels”, said Mr. Fawcett. “This new engine is the fastest, most elegant and friction free engine todate and will serve as a launching platform for our online inititives coming in late 2009 and early 2010″.
Zaui Transportation Search Engine (TSE)
The engineers at Zaui Software have included in this release a very simple, but highly sophisticated, booking system specifically geared toward scheduled service providers. “Businesses such as busing companies and airport shuttle services will largely be the clients making the most use of this specific engine”, says Mr. Fawcett. The TSE, as its referred to, allows online guests to quickly select their routes, by providing minimal information required for the online reservations. “By asking guests to provide only basic information for their booking reduces the likelihood of online abandonment leading to an increase in online conversions”, says Mr. Fawcett. “We have studied the online booking paradigms historically pioneered in the airline industry, taking the best of those, and developed what we call ‘the best of bread’ for the shuttle transportation industry”, Mr. Fawcett pointed out.
