New Features- menus, calendars, bar codes, and QR codes…

We’ve pleased to announce a number of new features, and upgrades that have recently been completed in Zaui, which we wanted to make you aware of.  These new features will deployed out to our system over the comings weeks.  For more details information about each new feature, please consult our support system.

New/Enhanced Menu system

  • We have moved to new menu system allowing for user customization coming in the future;  user access control lists

New Calendars

  • update to all calendars used in Zaui, including those in the back office and online system
  • multiple month calendaring system

Bar Codes

  • as Zaui moves towards its plans for mobile implementation, m-ticketing and e-ticketing, we have first introduced bar codes in the system to be used on vouchers, tickets and boarding passes.

Qr Codes

  • if your not already aware of what QR Codes are, here is a quick 2 minute elevator speech:  a Quick Response Code, or QR Code, is a specific matrix barcode that is readable by dedicated readers and camera phones.
  • Zaui will now allow you to automatically generate QR codes for each activity/product/package that you have generated in your system, driving traffic to your online booking system, through the QR Code.

New features added and deployed in Zaui

We’re pleased to announce a group of new features that are new and currently available in your Zaui, that you may or may not already be aware of.  For more detailed information about each new feature, please consult our support system.

Online internet bookings new features

  • Ability to sell packages online
  • New grouping feature of activities
  • Expanded features for promo codes online, and ability to use Groupon Codes
  • Ability to auto assign net rate discounts for affiliate online in real time

Back office new features

  • New reports available in the system
  • Checkin / Checkout ability from your manifests
  • Tracking of no-shows
  • Visual display of checkin’s for each activity on your dashboard
  • New taxation/surcharge type based on departure or arrival location

We’ve also implemented a rating system as part of our internal ticketing system.  We really appreciate your comments, and suggestions on the system.  We also reply to each one as they come in.  As part of this end to end feedback loop we have, you will occasionally now receive an automated inquery asking if your satisfied with our response and comments.  This feedback is critical for us to continue and improve our customer service.
